ESTISOL 199: A true alternative to d-limonene

ESTISOL 199 has the “WOW” effect that you are looking for in bitumen cleaners, graffiti removers and heavy-duty greasers.   

The cleaning properties on bitumen contamination can easily be demonstrated in a lab trial:

• A stainless-steel plate was covered with a bitumen layer and the solvent was allowed to evaporate overnight
• The plate was placed horizontally, ESTISOL 199 and d-limonene was applied, and the plate was raised to a 45° angle leaving the solvent to run down and dissolve the bitumen
• The picture shows the result after 30 seconds contact time between the solvent and bitumen followed by water rinse with a laboratory spray bottle.
