Our sustainability approach
Climate & Environment
Since 2020, we have calculated our corporate greenhouse gas emissions across scope 1, 2 and selected scope 3 categories.
We have set short-term and long-term reduction targets:
🌿 By 2030, 70% reduction in scope 1 & 2 compared with baseline year 2020.
🌿 By 2030, 80% of the CO2 emissions from raw material purchases must come from suppliers with climate targets covering scope 3.
🌿 By 2030, 50% of the CO2 emissions from raw material purchases must be covered by supplier-specific PCF data.
🌿 Our long-term goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 90% by 2050 across value chain.
Scope 1 ⏲
Status: In progress = We are working on alternatives to replace natural gas.
Scope 2 ✔️
Status: Target met = We have met scope 2 target via renewable energy certificates.
Scope 3 ⏲
Status: In progress = We are collecting supplier product carbon footprint data.
Our focus areas
Renewable energy
We have purchased renewable electricity via certificates to cover 100% of our energy consumption since 2022.
Reuse IBCs
All functional IBCs and drums from suppliers are reused directly in our production or reused or recycled by external partner.
Zero chemical spills
We follow strict internal procedures, and we perform annual internal audit to identify areas of improvement.
